Then a run in the dishwasher, drain outside in the sun (if any) and refit. If I’m feeling frisky, I sometimes scrub the filters both sides before the dishwasher blast.

My neighbor two doors down runs a diner in town in Boca Raton, FL, and he was thinking he might need commercial kitchen exhaust hood maintenance. I will let him know that this is a good idea since he fries food a lot.
